'St Aloysius College’, (2019).
St Aloysius College

I think to get an evaluation of any country we need to look at the status of its education. Education is a big essential step to make strong countries. In my opinion, schools are a very important part of education in society of any country because I think people grow their minds and imagination in the schools or colleges.

Garnethill has a lot of amazing buildings. People made them a long time ago. St Aloysius College is one of the heritage buildings and has a great history. It was founded by the Society of Jesus in September 1859 to educate Catholic boys in and around Glasgow. In addition to its original 19th century buildings, the College’s Garnethill campus now has a modern junior school and a building for Maths, Science and Technology. It became an independent school for boys and girls, aged 3 to 18, in 1979.

When I took some photos of this building and wrote this, I felt sad about big differences between here and my country. There, the schools, colleges and education don’t matter, I can say everything is ahead of education, that is why I think education and society there hasn’t developed and grown the same as here.

I hope one day in my country education will begin to change and realise that education is very important and will start to make a significant change to educate and establish schools, colleges of good quality in the same way as they have a lot of quality homes and business buildings there.
